It's been a minute and I apologize. I've been out hunting a few times since my last post.  The bucks have started chasing the does, which is exciting! I actually had this big beautiful buck walk out in front of me last week. I'm still sick to my stomach about this, but I took a shot and misjudged the distance. I hit him too low. If you know me, you know I absolutely hate wounding deer. I've gotten really good, especially at gun, with only one shot. Anyways, the arrow went through him, but was under his heart and lungs. We followed a good blood trail but he kept going, even past the neighbors property(we had permission to look). It wasn't a kill shot. I hope I see him again at some point. It wasn't a deer we've seen on camera before.
